Days 1-3: Fresh & Bright Phase
Lips will appear bold, swollen, and slightly tender – this is normal. Apply a thin layer of the recommended healing balm to keep lips moisturized. Avoid hot, spicy, or acidic foods – drink through a straw. Do not touch, rub, or lick your lips. If taking antiviral medication, continue for 3 days after the procedure to prevent cold sore flare-ups.
Days 4-7: Peeling Phase
Lips may start to flake and peel – this is part of the healing process.
Do not pick or peel the skin – let it shed naturally.
Continue applying healing balm to prevent dryness.
Weeks 4-6: Full Healing & Touch-Up
The final color fully settles after 4-6 weeks.
A touch-up session may be needed to perfect shape and color.
Days 8-14: Soft & Light Phase
The color may appear lighter or uneven – this is normal.
Avoid excessive sun exposure and exfoliating products around the lips.
